Whispers
I open my eyes to my world
and as I walk,I hear a whisper.
It tells me that all is changing around me
then I look around......
to find that all HAS changed.
The angelic white snow has fallen
and the blue skies mirror themselves
upon the frozen waters beneath my feet.
I hurry my pace to slide
as the whisper finds my ear once more....
And I discover that it is the crisp winter wind
cutting across my contented face,
And I close my eyes to that paradise.
