Like Crystal
Some days I view the weary world
to find that it can never be like crystal.
As our world darkens, crystal stays bright as day.
And while our world goes tarnished, crystal exists as pure
as the diamonds we find in our roughs.
In crystal there is unchallenged beauty,
and she catches our gazes like a lost treasure.
Though there is nothing like crystal,
we still believe we can imitate her shine.
So our tiring hands toil on it......
failing to glitter with each setting sun......
and spite of every mortals belief,
I keep that secret to myself
and I laugh, while in the midst of this stubborn universe
knowing that while the weary world tries with its might,
it can never........ever.........be like crystal.
to find that it can never be like crystal.

I disagree that all people fail to make their crystals glitter,
