Jailhouse Tantrum

Who do you think you are Don’t you know who I am? I am a celebrity This arrest is a sham.   Throwing a jailhouse tantrum Nobody was impressed. Even if she held her breath She’s just a pampered princess.   I don’t have to live by Everyone else’s rules. I am a celebrity You ignorant fools.   Throwing a jailhouse tantrum Her lawyer she demands. He’ll have me out of here in an hour He’s a very important man.   How dare you take my picture Where’s my publicist? Take your hands off me you pig Through snarled lips, she hissed.   Throwing a jailhouse tantrum To her it’s nothin

This Ole House

Alone in the darkened house at night Walking down the long corridor. You hear a series of noises. You feel a sense of terror, like never before.   You feel eyes watching you. Your pulse begins to race. The pressure of a touch upon your skin Your heart stops beating in its place.   This ole house, its centuries old The floorboards creak, as you step gingerly. Suddenly from out of nowhere You hear a scream, like that of a banshee.   You race into your room Slam shut the door behind you. In the darkness as your eyes adjust The temperature drops around you.   Sheer terror, take

Credit Reporting

Talk about a racket. They collect and disseminate Information about you and me. As to how your credit rates.   They’re only in it the for money They don’t care if the information is correct. They don’t give a hoot If your credit rating they wreck.   The three major reporting agencies Experian,Trans Union and Equifax. Can’t even come up with the same credit score They can’t come up with the same facts.   The information they collect Relates exclusively to you. But they won’t give you the information They want your money too.   The information a bank might see Will differ fro

Wolves

A member of the dog family Skilled in silent fast motion. They generally live in packs. They evoke rabid emotions.   Wolves are carnivores Due to their hunting ability. Humans have long since Caused a lot of wolf mortality.   Misconceptions and hostility Have added to human persecution. Coupled with habitat loss Species protection is the only solution.   You have a better chance Of being hit by a meteorite. Than being killed by a wolf That misconception is part of their plight.   Their beauty and grace As they wander the wilderness Makes them a wonder to behold. Their

Batman and Robin

Hmmm..sometimes you wonder About Batman and Robin. Prancing about in skin tight pants Alone in a dark cave, weaving and a bobbin.   Hiding their true identity What is it they’re afraid of? Perhaps someone will start to think That, maybe they’re in love.   And older man, and a young boy. Patron and protégé. Working for the good of society Crime solving, or criminal play?   Only Albert knows for sure He’s not about to say. Bruce Wayne is his employer He’d like to keep his pay.   To the citizens of Gotham I’d like to make this clear. I think the Dynamic Duo Are just a couple o

Montana Sky

I left my home in California Looking for some room to breathe. Found myself in Montana It seemed like a place to be free.   Its called Big Sky Country Where the mountain tops soar. Clear blue skies extend forever Who could ask for anything more.   No smog, no congestion, no crime Living your life beneath the Montana Sky The spaces between heaven and earth Sets your spirit free, and gives you wings to fly.   Towering Pines reaching toward the heavens Wide opens spaces, with room to roam. It’s a special place called Montana It’s the place that I call home.

Love worth Finding

Love worth finding Is love worth waiting for. It’ll happen when you least expect it It might come a knockin on your door.   If you’ve been searching for love In all the wrong places. If you’ve not found love In familiar faces.   Then love worth finding Is what you’re waiting for. If what you’re seeking You think can’t be found.   You need to stop looking For love is all around. Love worth finding Is love worth waiting for.   Love cannot be created It can’t be willing into being. If what you want Is not what you’re seeing.    Then love worth finding Is what you’re

Inmate 14086

My first night in this hell I’m innocent, I say. From nobody I get any sympathy That’s what they all say.   The steel doors slammed shut The echo nearly deafening. I’m fresh meat in this nightmare Don’t know if I’ll survive this thing.   The never-ending din Permeates your brain. It’s a human torture chamber It’s pointless to complain.   My first night of fitful sleep Was interrupted by rape. Engorged manhood forced inside me Across my mouth, duct tape.   I’m inmate 14086 My name no longer matters. I’m now a commodity of the state My life is now in tatters.   It was ju

Pleasure Cruise

We boarded the ship in Miami Bound for a Bermuda port of call. We have to cross through the triangle Unaware of an impending squall.   The sky grew dark as night The clouds were menacing. The ship began to jump As if riding on a spring.   Violent claps of thunder Echoed through the halls. Panic spread like a virus The world suddenly felt so small.   The walls began to fade The floor to fall away. Floating in a glowing mist Your senses give way.   Is this death, are we in heaven The silence is so loud. The surroundings seem so surreal Could we be floating in a cloud?

The Quarterback

A talented High School quarterback Handsome and powerfully built. The object of sexual attraction Free of remorse or guilt.   A disbelieving community Just couldn’t comprehend. His being charged with rape He was everybody’s friend.   An all American boy Nobody would have guessed. That he was a sexual predator When the cops they did arrest.   He worked the jury with his charm The Cheerleaders were painted as whores. There reputations all were sullied As a free man, he walked out the door.
