WORDS
WORDS
BY Alexander Duque
Living in a ruthless world,
Trying to write and express my word.
Everybody hate this is every writers fate.
Hoping God will open up heavens gate,
For us that still have faith.
Then you and I will drink champagne for free,
Set our spirit free.
I might die alone but I won’t cry and moan.
I’ll keep my head up high,
Wipe the tears in my eye.
As I write a poem in my bed
Words flow in my head.
Poems I’ve written I’ll never regret.
