The Quarterback

A talented High School quarterback Handsome and powerfully built. The object of sexual attraction Free of remorse or guilt.   A disbelieving community Just couldn’t comprehend. His being charged with rape He was everybody’s friend.   An all American boy Nobody would have guessed. That he was a sexual predator When the cops they did arrest.   He worked the jury with his charm The Cheerleaders were painted as whores. There reputations all were sullied As a free man, he walked out the door.

Justice?

oh man, if you see me get angry about politics, racism or religion you haven't seen anything to my rage against injustice. When a rich white kid gets away with rape with an expensive lawyer I go ballistic! It's one of the very few things that make me want to pick up a gun. cheers, Jess

Pick up a Gun!!!

I'm shocked and stunned that the "G" word would ever cross your lips. You can borrow one of mine...I have ALOT of them. Injustice? in a world inhabited by humans...Go figure! Have a good day! Brian (bellavistabear)
