HOPE . . . MY BROTHER
O a downward spiral we stride
All our feelings we hide
From an early age
"Put your feelings in a cage"
All alone with your fight
Between darkness and light
Who will win the battle
That makes your world rattle
Darkness descends on your soul
Because you have no goal
But every cloud has a silver lining
And tomorrow your sun will be shining
Your coin is still spinning in flight
Darkness - Light... Darkness - Light....
Read the rest of the poem Show less
On witch side will it land
On the hourglass's sand
But you know you're strong
That darkness won't last long
For again you will stand up and fight
Driving out the darkness with your light
