YOU

your words fall at your feet without
direction of expression disappointed
disjointed by my individual point of view
I know no ointment for your ail.

pale faced as you fail the broken truths
of your tale wail on I can always walk away
embarrassed for you because I was someone
who was always there for you.

we all live give take and die so why! gripe
back with such jealous resentment utter
contempt I briefly dwelt where you
reside felt the hate and then I cried.

took the bait then spat it out have learnt from
it don`t scream and shout pity I can do without
what hacked away at your self belief.

was it loss of love or life and grief listen my
friend time is a thief, hindsight a life long
lesson contentment the goal freedom for the soul.

Zigs, another fine poem. I agree with Indi, it reads like a rap, which I am sure wasn't your intention but it does and works a treat. Great subject matter, I like the way you've thrown it straight back into their face. My favourite stanza:(arranged into the rap style) took the bait then spat it out have learnt from it don`t scream and shout pity I can do without what hacked away at your self belief. I can feel your anguish and frustration. A new pic I see, you could have combed your hair!!!!! Enjoyed this one immensely my friend, which is more than I can say for the England game tonight!
