Lorna’s Path
The path she took she knew,
knew so well
by her footsteps padded,
a button toe and tiny heel
sole flattened way
below the pines,
a strung winding
trodden line to her friend.
So many times
she traveled
sometimes eyes closed,
bare foot familiar,
feeling brown needles
soft sand
Read the rest of the poem Show less
wandering roots
just where they should be,
route touches of
assuring signs,
breeze wisped
in tree cloaked
rustling forest fabric,
wrapping the nearby
watery sounds.
The same in other ways
as older,
for friends that come and go.

"Cyberlove" by @ephraimcrud
"I like your poem, its light hearted enjoyable poke. It reminds me about the abandoned difference of picking up a pen, (fountain type would be good) and composing a letter and the instant cyber jot. Cheers, Don" - February 2011

"Nope, me too. It's a wonderful combination of the eros of eating and what my imagination did with it. Sometimes an orange is just an orange? No way for this delightful poem, at least for me." -
