Mouthfull

full throttled
mouth of fear
full blooded
tongue sharp words
lashing into your psyche
sweat running scared
down your face
mouth dry
heart sprinting
legs like jelly
you can’t believe
you got caught

Voyeur?

I’ve seen deaf girls dance
watched from afar
as giggling angels
weaved quilts of true romance

I’ve been branded
by painted flames
and baptised
in someone elses name

and now
I am the unknown soldier
fighting
in everyone elses war
and even I’ve captured
the enemy within
I still remain
the only victim

Freddy Flappy Ears

In a little village just outside the big town lived a little boy called Freddie Flappy ears. Freddie was very lonely because he had no friends. He would stay at home and play in the garden on his own because no one would want to call round for him. Things were not much better when he went to school. All the boys and girls at school would laugh at Freddy’s rather strange but large ears and this made Freddie aware and very sad. One day Freddie went home from school crying his little eyes out. What’s wrong my darling said Freddy’s mother.

To Seek Your Truth

Help me to figure out

What my life is all about.

Where did it start, and where shall it end?

Help me decipher between an enemy and a friend.

Guide me down the paths marked out for me;

Reveal all that my ignorance blinded me within life to see.

Give me strength when I can no longer stand;

In such moments of fear, let me hold tight of your merciful hand.

I remember being all along

with no hopes or dreams to call my very own.

I was so lost amongst those sacrificed for death

Sick Cycle

Feeling worn out and tired

Time has quickly expired.

Hours are fleeting past;

Days and nights fade much to fast.

No recollection on the time that was spent;

The things that I had done or where the hours went.

Lose track; as my mind begins its rapid familiar race-

with fast, and shaking hands that begin a repeating process at a more quick pace.

Then, Level out, start to come down a bit;

Starting to feel anxious-but another line will soon rid it.

Adrenaline crashes like waves from the ocean shore;

Diner by the Shore

The summer sun is setting
It falls behind the endless lake before me
The patrons mumble conversations as they fill their mouths with food
I sit alone in this booth staring out the window
Watching the clouds drift by slowly
And watching the night turn into day
The stars begin to appear as the moon reveals itself in the distance
And the smoke from a lawbreaking elderly man makes my eyes water
