Voyeur?

I’ve seen deaf girls dance
watched from afar
as giggling angels
weaved quilts of true romance

I’ve been branded
by painted flames
and baptised
in someone elses name

and now
I am the unknown soldier
fighting
in everyone elses war
and even I’ve captured
the enemy within
I still remain
the only victim

How did I miss this?

sorry to have overlooked it. Really dig it, densely deep and cool. Not sure about the title, especially the question mark and the last line really jars, there is a tendency to make a half-rhyme with within which makes victim read vicTIM, see what I mean? cheers, Jess
