Dear Mr Cobel

Two witches sir, no maybe four. Somehow they’ve made a spell. And Girdlestone is in it now Condemn them all to hell.   They’re out to get me, mark my words. Please save me from this savage plight.. Bewitched my heart and made me ill. I want them dead or put to flight.   They’re out to get me, hurry now. They stole my silver spoon. Perhaps they’ve used it for their herbs. They’ll kill me very soon.   Four witches sir, no maybe five. Somehow they’ve made a spell And Girdlestone is in it now. Condemn them all to hell.   They’ve set about my brother now. "Deathfugue" (Paul Celan)

Black milk of daybreak we drink it at evening

we drink it at midday and morning we drink it at night

we drink and we drink

we shovel a grave in the air where you won’t lie too cramped

A man lives in the house he plays with his vipers he writes

he writes it and steps out of doors and the stars are all sparkling he whistles his hounds to stay close

he whistles his Jews into rows has them shovel a grave in the ground

he commands us play up for the dance

Black milk of daybreak we drink you at night

Mirror on the wall

Get away from me!

Stop staring at me!

I can’t stand you!

You make me so mad!

Annoying me everyday!

Wasting space!

Wasting time!

Stressing me out!

Can you hear me!

Are you deaf?

Do you see me?

Falling apart!

My friend!

I hate you!

I love you!

Can you feel me when I cut into you!

Vitamins

Bitter taste. Drab color.

Choked when I tried to eat you.

I swear you tried to kill me.

Or maybe I was making things up?

My ear heard you were good for me.

You tightly held on to my tongue.

Slowly melting yourself all in my mouth.

Water well he wasn’t strong enough.

He couldn’t break you off.

So I swigged milk.

He kicked you down my throa

Slippery my throat became.

Nothing to hold on to.

Quickly falling into my abdomen.

Slowly dissolve ling in a pool of acid.

THOUGHTS

They come and they go.

Faster than speeding light.

Lost in translation.

Lost within my brain.

Forever untold.

Forgotten by the guardian

Concealed behind my teeth.

Withheld in my eyes.

Peeking from my ears.

Wanting you to know.

Wanting you to hear.

Can’t surface my thoughts.

Choked by the ribbon.

Covering my mouth.

Thoughts remain within.

Thoughts are kept safe.

Thoughts you will never know.

Falling star

Falling star
By Alexander Duque

A bright star twinkles in heaven; its beauty will never end.

 Dazzling, amazing, glorified and mesmerized.

A precious stone its light has no comparison.

Body was created by love and passion.

A star so bright it almost blinded my sight.

Happy as everybody be, showing what a star should be.

As the shows goes on, fulfilled my spirits free.

A star so bright suddenly flicker its light gets dimmer.

A star lost its light a star lost in a fight.

The Silent Misfit

Craved to be accepted
cramned into the corner
of unacceptence
hating the organizers
the inhuman perfectionist
cause they’re the ones
that gives the misfit
a world of hurt
the silent misfit

tears frozen
from coldness inside
disturbed looks
that pierces the harmful ones
so much to say
intimidated to speak a word
shut down with rejection
the silent misfit

SILK AND DELIVANCE

rain hisses on the hot breath of ashphalt

collects on my smooth tanned arms

LORI written on my wrist darkens

the red heart over the "i" turns a bright crimson

the trees are singing with each new gulp

the lawns dancing with every thirsty drop

last night i dreamt of you

naked in my ams in those clean sheets

and neon room

your scars were vived blemishs on your

white opal flesh

speaking pain your eyes wept with ache

and hurt

we dove beneath the cover of addiction

Ballad In A Graveyard

Behold my brother, MDG

Handsome, gifted, crazy

Living his days in drudgery

Thoughts unfocused, hazy

He takes his hat off in the rain

Looks down upon her grave

He sinks to earth in melting pain

Her life he could not save

He loved her then, still loves her now

Helpless as he sits here

She gave to him her lifelong vow

That he should never fear

Her going before him in death

He was the older one

He’d be first to draw the last breath

Miracle on a Beach (A Ballad)

He stands on the Florida shore

His heart is full with pain

He can not take it any more

Screams out in rage and shame

Down on his knees, he kneels in sand

Buries his face and cries

He hides himself behind his hands

Believing all the lies

Told him by the thousand voices

That supersede his own

A life of despairing choices

Is all he’s ever known

Blue-black the sky and bruised with clouds

Adrift on wings of wind
