Psychodelagasm
Thoughts streaming in and out
teeth ache as untiring jaws grind
heart beating hard and erratic
blood screaming though the veins
high emotions grab hold
breathing becomes heavy but calm
senses interact intensely
as we rise higher into the mystic realm
inside, looking out
barely grasping the strands of reality
outside looking in
unable to recognize the things we see
peaking hard over the top
arriving at the cusp of up and down
Read the rest of the poem Show less
crashing hard to the bottom
where only pieces can be found
slowly we pick ourselves up
gathering all the laughter and pain
the only thing left to ask...
When would you like to do this again?
