Northern Light over Lake Erie

Streaking the evening sky with brilliant colors
Bright,pulsing... We watch in amazement
Oscillating wildly across the northern sky
Escaping out into the far reaches of our heavens

Bright, pulsing... We watch in amazement
Blues fade to white, red transitions to orange
Escaping out into the far reaches of our heavens
Constantly changing as it rolls across the sky

Blues fade to white, red transitions to orange
Translucent yet colorful... mute yet bright
Constantly changing as it rolls across the sky
Purely mesmerizing to each eye watching

Translucent yet colorful... mute yet bright
Like a wind of light from the end of the earth
Purely mesmerizing to each eye watching
Capturing the depths of our fascination

Like a wind of light from the end of the earth
Oscillating wildly across the northern sky
Capturing the depths of our fascination
Streaking the evening sky with brilliant colors

MrRee...

The pantoum is a hard form to write in and keep it interesting, but I believe you've accomplished that here... well done! Richard

Thank you

I think I have a structured thought process... these are a lot easier for me to do than free form [as you all can see :^)] but the reason I am here is to learn... as with my martial arts, it is all about practice, practice, practice Thank you, Richard, for the encouraging comment

I’ve actually done a few

I've actually done a few pantaloons too. :-) Nice sunset over Lake Erie. My x is from Peru and often said he'd never seen sunrises & sunset like ours (I'm from Ohio). I told him the bad air is what creates it..just before he returned to Lima. Anyhoo, much enjoyed, and well done. ~A Don’t let your victories go to your head, or your failures go to your heart.

Thank you

The lake has been very inspirational to me in writing this and several others in the pantoum form. It makes me happy that you enjoyed it... Thank you
