Today I felt the church bell ring
as I walked along the creek,
and the daylilies were nearly singing -
I swear they were.
The willow trees reached out to each other,
and the park bench smiled at me,
while the blue in the sky pulsated around the sun -
something like…joy.
I thought of you.
And I think of you.
