In a Forgotten Field in England
It was my evening, that's
For sure,
‘Its your aura...
When are you going
To be a superstar?’
That seemed to be
The question
On everyone’s lips,
At last, at last, at last
I'm good at something.
References
To my innocent face.
‘You give to everyone
But are incapable
Read the rest of the poem Show less
Of giving in particular…
Inscrutable...blasé…’
Everything I’d always
Wanted to be, I now am.
At last, at last, at last
I'm good at something.

on In a Forgotten Field in England from @Geezer
"is just a tiny bit like bragging, but I wouldn't let it worry me any. We all have that in us. We are afraid most times to be labeled a braggart and often underestimate our self-worth. I would liken this to a great night…" -

"If you did not let on that it wasn't exactly as you planned, it could be interpeted in the way described by Teddy and myself. We don't care that much if it doesn't reflect what you meant. Good work. ~ Geez. ." - November 2020
