poor little rat (revised)

i was peacefully watching tele
involved in scotch
and quite a full belly

when from the kitchen rustlings came

i knew that there was no-one home
my flatmates errant
rage, rave and roam

so for rustlings someone else to blame

i crept up slow and took a look
there was a rat
intently chewing on my book

oh you rodent shame shame shame

the warrior within me woke
i grabbed a hefty stick

then that heathenous rat did poke

one mighty blow did smite it lame

a suicide note

I sat out front
aside my dog, a runt,
while watchin’ Phoebus set,
with eve’nin’s pink-hued sky
aflarin’ sun’s aigrette,

while chewin’ uncooked,
postprime sausage
and playin’ mouth roulette

with putrid pork on rye …

although I felt at risk,
I unlaxed a bit,
feelin’ A-OK
and able to just sit,
knowin’ that today

would be the day
that from my flesh-and-blood
abominations

I would much likely die …

from here thenceforward

my word!

I deem it dandy
To be word-handy.

(Suggested criticisms
for the above:

1) too short
2) way too short
3) not long enough
4) needs expanding
5) cute
6) prissy title
7) don’t need
a dictionary for
getting it
8) so what?!)

full moon

When the people are at home.
When the doors are shut and locked.
When the night comes.
When a mysterious glow is shown.
When the Clock hits twelve.
When the windows are closed.
There it glows.
Where it is shown.
A beautiful light is shined.
Open the nocturnal eyes.
Over above the trees and homes.
Is a beautiful sight.
For worthy and unworthy eyes.

There all round and yellow.
Up in the sky ahead.
With all the stars with it in the sky.
Up in the big blue brightened sky
Where it is not alone.

cinderella

Cinderella :Part 1
!q!q

In a land full of fame and fortune,
There was a girl who had pain and was tortured.
She always scrubbed the floors,
Curtsy and open all the doors.
Polishing and soothing,
And always keep moving.
Making warm milk,
Cleaning the stains off the silk.
Brushing, rubbing, and grooming,
Making clothes by looming.
Putting trees in the big garden,
To speak she always says excuse me or pardon.
Always cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

ever since

Ever since you’ve been gone,
All I could do is think about me and you
I remember your hands and the way they softly moved down my face.
How the moon reflects to your eyes like diamonds
That feeling I get just by looking straight towards you.
I miss that warm, comforting feeling being in your arms.
But it all went cold as you withdrew your arms from mine and disappeared farther and farther from my love.

Puppet

Fetid and tepid
The imbeciles are staying out.
Except when it’s their turn to welch off the dying
And bail out their sinking ships.
 I’ve no stomach
for any of this.
I’ve seen my friend suffer.
I can hear it in her broken voice.
And these connivers are making it worse.
It’s lip – service,
all of it.
Down to the venom they spew,
down to the very hate they preach
veiled thinly as tolerance
for this weeks puppet,
for this weeks whore
they trot on the screen,
they insist it’s enough.
Then it’s fade away
