ever since

Ever since you’ve been gone,
All I could do is think about me and you
I remember your hands and the way they softly moved down my face.
How the moon reflects to your eyes like diamonds
That feeling I get just by looking straight towards you.
I miss that warm, comforting feeling being in your arms.
But it all went cold as you withdrew your arms from mine and disappeared farther and farther from my love.

with respect

this is the only one of your poems I don't like. Like I said in another comment love poetry is hard to do, I listed the dangers: triteness, sentimentality, cliche this one just has nothing new, sorry but cheers, Jess
