Communique Frozen.....
Communique Frozen...
Telephone lines covered in ice,
communications all frozen out.
People twittering, some not nice,
presidential hair lip starts to pout.
An election in the offing, poor show,
so many hours spent doting or voting.
Do we really need stupidity tied in a bow,
then five misspent years simply gloating.
These the candidates our very own,
nothing but the best in town or not.
Fretting, betting all deeds are sown,
goons to make sure they’re hot to trot.

their chief is all tweets and twiddles.
It’s not his fault he’s seen as a clown,
a country squirms as he still fiddles.
Let’s get to it go on pick your side,
red or blue both promising much.
Couple of years they’ll begin to slide,
it’s not their fault we’re an easy touch.
Campaigns run by media pros,
not ordinary folks like you or I.
Honesty among thieves god knows,
not this lot they’re paid to lie.
Wrap the people’s needs up like gifts,
shove back hard on rhetorical sins.
Prepare to change if the mood shifts,
after all who cares as long as we wins.
Win for the people don’t be a fool,
we want power to help pay our debt.
Our paymasters are from an old school,
no, they haven’t given us the price yet.
Hey ho as long as we have power,
we’ll let the clowns who vote pay.
We shall be safe in an ivory white tower,
as long as the corporates are allowed
to prey.
