Sad, Cold, Alone

Sad, cold, alone, these feelings I know.

Sat here listening to the sad songs,

Feels so familiar, feels like life,

Life is cold and cold is life,

Only know the cold hard feelings,

Never had an alternative,

Seems like the only way to live,

Joy feels unknown,

Sitting here, sad, cold, alone.

Days feel so slow, so slow, I know,

Nights feel too long, too long to go,

No love in my life, only trouble, pain and strife,

Being alone not what I wanted,

Being alone I did not need,

But in this life I did not succeed,

My best chance I may have blown,

So I just sit here, sad, cold, alone.
