I treasure the little things
Things others seem to
Overlook
I never realized how much i have taken them for granted and how
Delicate and
Fragile they are
Until they are no longer there.
cranium feels like eggs
scrambling around the tears
and anger.
why does it do this?
beating the cranium
as it beats back.
questioning, crying,
starving, laughing,
screaming, dying.
am i caged in?
can i not control myself?
will i lose it?
run by big hands and
little voices,
it reminds me of the past,
doubting the future
i panic and try to breathe
i struggle.
i'm drowning on land,
choking on air.
am i losing my mind?
It's raining so loud right now.. the hardest rain we've felt in this city of angels for a while
la lluvea .. sounds similar to the rain we felt in El Salvador.. tengo frio and my eyes envy, the release sweet sweet clouds must feel
I can't release you
and when i stop, to truly feel the rain, i realize i feel more and more of you
heavy on my heart, so heavy in my mind.. you're heavy like rain
Sweet sweet pain.. flowing through my veins
and I still want you..
I speak with the Moon, confess my pain,
Her gentle light brings peace again.
I say I don’t want the sun to rise,
Forever stay within my skies.
I beg the night to linger more,
To taste this beauty I adore.
I weave my verses, poetry free,
Just like I did in childhood’s plea.
Her light within this darkest night
Tells me that hope is still in sight.
She says that life, just like the sky,
Can’t always dark and blackened lie.
I feel the ground beneath my feet shake.
Buildings coming down like an angry hail storm.
It's chaotic everyone's everywhere, running to nowhere.
The winds whoosh in turmoil, even they are afraid.
I am trembling, I feel my heart pound.
Sweating, fear decorates my face.
Mute sounds slowly coming to life.
Audience clapping and cheering.
Makes me want to rip heads off.
Bullshit, verbal leakage
you are putrid seepage,
dripping down my brain.
Glacial sweat creeping down the back of my neck
trickling through my senses
feel the need to massacre ,
as I am , lying in this metaphorical gutter.
Tiny bites nip at my
self control. Testing my durability .
Laying me low.
The crux of it all.
You have what I want
Tiny bites nip at my
Self control.
I need what you have
An ache cramps
My back.
Give it to me
Got have it,
It’s not yours.
I examine the toxic alcohol tainted fumes,
looking for an answer, searching for loves lost,
and opportunities tangled in the distant past.
Reaching for a future.
I recall the pub crawls and the booze soaked brawls
and in return receive a fist filled with splintered dreams
the boy i once was, three sheets to the wind ,
and drowning in my grief, hoping for a tomorrow.
Skank
Fucking mother fucker
makes me want to rip heads off.
Two bit male slag
Can't keep it in his pants
Whips it out when ever he can
Want to destroy the arse holes
Of the species
Castrate scum suckers of this world.
I'm not a violent girl
I'm meek and mild
shouldn't let you do this to me
But my blood boils
Feel the need to massacre
when I see you dicking me around
Glacial sweat creeping down the back of my neck
trickling through my senses
penetrating my reserves.
Brittle nerves fracturing with the strain
Try to scream nothing emanates
I’m mute.
Racked and shaken
On my knees
Gripping on for safety
Catatonic with dread
As foot steps draw near
Cold blade between the ribs.
