Leap of Faith
Why make a leap of such great faith alone
When you have a friend there to stand beside?
Another with you should jump in quick stride,
My branches serving as a stepping stone.
This is a jump of great importance, no?
Implying in it a change of magnitude
That may greatly affect your attitude
Toward more than you’d ever wish to know.
But in this leap of faith a friend does come
To aid you in your troubled lonely state;
Finny, with tie about his waist, always late
Did with you fall and in water blossom.
He is your rock and steadfast foundation,
Always ready and willing to strengthen.

"read classic love poems off this site. The real immortals- Shakespeare, Yeats, Wordsworth, Shelley. That's where the cliches got invented and that's where to learn to avoid them." -

Running Round
" Running round and round breathing hard. We all just run and run, never stopping. Birds chatter, blood pumps, and things move... but all we do is run. Running from fears, loves, and just feelings all together. You run from a broken heart, feeling comfort in the rage that running creates. I run from a fear of life ending, finding a home in the lull of the step by step pounding in my ears. Here, there, everywhere we all run from the things that push us away, whether it be society or ourself. Loud music pounds in our ears and we all go along our path running from whatever scares us most, until we find a new fear to run from. Why does everyone run? Why do we never stop? The music gets softer, the pace slower. As we slow, we realize that we shouldn't run. We need to stand our ground looking Fear in its face until it runs away itself. I spread the word, stop running. One day, the world shall stop running but sit and confront their problems. But then... We will run again from something all a'new." -

My friend Jon (written by my very good friend who wanted me to post it on here)
" He is kind, he is strong, he is pure. We talk for so long, talking of nothing. The smile that runs across my face while the happiness shines from him. He is a light; he is the ray that lights my world. He shows kindness like no other, he speaks only the truth. But he is my friend, he is my family. I don’t know him personally, but that does not matter, because he cares. He is my family, I shall protect him like no other, and if he is harmed I shall hurt thee who hurt my friend. Because he is my ray of hope, he is Jon. I do not know if he will be there in the future, but in this minute in the world, he is here. Therefore the world is happy, happy that you are here and living. You breath, you walk, you live, you feel. All proof that you are here Jon, all proof. So live, live and be happy. Live the happy life we all strive for, because you are Jon… and never forget that. Never forget who u r, never forget the ray of hope that you are…just fly towards your goal. And if you must, step on me to accomplish your goal, then do so…. But you will not, you are Jon you are too nice to do so. So I thank you Jon, for allowing me to see the glimpse of happiness in which we all strive to find. Your passion shall drive you to the depths of this world, your passion will find you your love, and your passion will inspire millions through these harsh times. So never lose your passion, never lose your soul, for you are you. You make the person you shall be. So never lose it Jon, never lose your soul, your passion, or your love. For you are the ray of hope that shines for us all." -
