Running Round
Running round and round breathing hard. We all just run and run, never stopping. Birds chatter, blood pumps, and things move... but all we do is run. Running from fears, loves, and just feelings all together. You run from a broken heart, feeling comfort in the rage that running creates. I run from a fear of life ending, finding a home in the lull of the step by step pounding in my ears. Here, there, everywhere we all run from the things that push us away, whether it be society or ourself. Loud music pounds in our ears and we all go along our path running from whatever scares us most, until we find a new fear to run from. Why does everyone run? Why do we never stop? The music gets softer, the pace slower. As we slow, we realize that we shouldn't run. We need to stand our ground looking Fear in its face until it runs away itself. I spread the word, stop running. One day, the world shall stop running but sit and confront their problems. But then... We will run again from something all a'new.
