America
America is great!
The land of the free,
Freedom to hate, freedom to discrimate,
Man America is great!
It is a country that can lift you up, and tear you down all at the same time,
While everyone simply turns a blind eye
America has laws that contradicts laws,
Like how it is illegal to get divorce,
Yet America has the highest divorce rate in the world,
Or how it is illegal to have sex before marriage,
But they hand out condoms in high schools,
Living America is great!
It is the only place you can sue Mcdonalds for making you fat,
Because in reality no other country will put up with that,
Read the rest of the poem Show less
Or suing the government while in jail because your steak was not up to par.
America is a country full of celebrities,
Why do you think everything on tv is a reality show now a days,
Everyone seems to be chasing that American dream,
It's like 50 said, get rich or die trying,
Come on, isn't America great!
It is great how they can spend months of air time looking for one little white girl,
When hundreds of little black girls go missing every day!
America has the capability to suffocate anyone with ability of stability that abides in its jurisdiction,
It is a country that can strip you of your identity making you feel like just another face it the system,
America declares in God we trust,
But the root of the matter is really who is God to us,
Because for money and paper we would trade it all,
But for Jesus our Savior is almost like have nothing at all,
And while we are on the topic of religion,
Let's check of the definition of marriage,
A union between one man and one woman,
So, how can gays demand same equality,
But is even more surprising that America grants in.
America is the greatest place in the world!
If it was not then tell me why so many people lose their lives trying to reach American soil,
Or why many come here and succumb to the onslaught of racial slurs, and inhumane injustice,
People in Mexico make on average about $1/hr and they save about $5000,
Just so that they can come to this great county of America and make a better life for them and their family,
But they come here they are subjected to farm fields and sweat factories,
And they don't complain.
America has become a consumer no longer a producer,
You realize nothing says made in America these days,
And we wonder why the national debt is so large,
It is pretty sad how America has taken hypocrisy and calls it is democracy,
But ignorance has us blind so we accept this all willingly.
America, the land of the free, the land of the great,
America, the greatest place in this world
