Tell my Heart you Love Me

Much has been heard
By this old heart of mine
Stories of terror, death, and some things fine
Not much different, though, lately that what’s heard
On T.V.
It’s you who can change that
So tell my heart you love me

Muffled noise? Yes
But it’s still noise nonetheless
Whispers from your heart
But not sure what those sounds meant
Heard clear songs from others
But from yours somehow means more
To me
If it’s true, coming from you
Then tell my heart you love me

I don’t have to try and pretend
To feel what’s felt in me- so strong
It’s been cooking for awhile now
Well- done after this long
But as for you, I think it’s true
But still I have to guess
Mixed waves are in the air
Still can’t quite clearly hear
The good news upon my mind’s screen
So, darling if you truly care
Please tell my heart you love me

Nice

Nice poem. I like it. In the second stanza, the line 6-7, can be changed a little. I dont know exactly what it is but it kinda takes away from the flow of the rest of the poem.. I understand what you are saying but it either seems like it needs to flow better or could be something is missing.. Besides that I really like it. Very nicely done
