They're dry.
I promise you, my eyes are dry.
There's a drought building up inside.
Eventually, it'll end;
When all my sorrows transform
There'll be a flood
and I'll cry for years.
Oceans will spill from my skin.
Rivers will burst deep within.
I'll be stranded, heartbroken.
I'd rather they stayed bone dry
Because then I'll know you still love me.
