Unearthed
The ground rattles and breaks
Buildings fall and crumble
Their weight falls on ground
The earth quakes and tumbles
Mother Nature’s birthing pains
Destruction of beliefs
They lose all hope
Forgot how to cope
Still dealing dope
Loss of friends and family
Distraught and empty
Crushed and homeless
Sorrow surrounds us
Today and tomorrow
Till we strike and loose arrow
Follow down a road of empty
Till we meet at the end
From this loss we gain plenty
Life is a game we might still win.
