SERAGLIO --revised

SERAGLIO

 Seraglio

Sumptuous sensuality

A dance of sweet perfumes

Silk indigo wafting in the evening breeze

Moonlight striking voices in city streets

Dying slowly

In Night’s intrusion

Expectations yet unknown

Escape into  opiate dream

No thoughts of mortality

To live forever

In passion’s fire

swells of morphine

sweep like breakers mists inhale the sea the moondrenched night forever let me be let no morning crawl in with burning slash I want the forever flash floating like foam on soft resolutions

Oh but how neatly you have put it my Longobardolino and my wandering thoughts do not do it justice, suffice it to say you have created the atmosphere and we can feel as if we too are taking part in its unknown passions.
