on beautiful places (rework) from @scribbler
"I didn't read your first attempt so I'll just comment on this one lol. Seems you've seen a lot over time I've also seen a lot of what you so eloquently described. The only obvious flaw in your poem (I think) is the sile…" - October 2013

"I love the content: it takes me to all the places of wonder you have been to and seen. One last suggestion - perhaps breaks with paragraphs would make more of an impact. IMO just too much to take in - in one long.... fr…" -

"What a beautiful Tanka, me as usual will go check all the syllables, this one is so near perfect. One word seems to have me foiled :- aged (monastery) high on. It keeps coming up as 8 syllables. This drives me mad as ac…" -

About Me
I am retired after 40 years of the UNIX/LINUX rat race. I have written since I was a child. Writing is the only thing I have ever wanted to do. I am married and have a beautiful daughter who lives at home because thoughtless doctors nearly ended her life and left her health in a shambles. I was born in Monterey but as a Navy brat, I lived many, many places. I lived in Iowa, Kansas and Missouri for 38 years before making it back to Monterey, the place of my heart.
