My explanation of you in my life.

I was there at the birth to see your new little life.

To hold you for the first time and to thank the midwife.

To feel such joy as only a parent can.

And walk on clouds as a very proud man.

Looking at your smile and wrinkled face.

Feeling that god blessed you with all his grace

Putting you in your crib your own safe place

Watching with wonderment as you stare into space

Joy

They call her joy. Claiming the label normal. Far from it. Her smile made me feel uncomfortable. Never seen a smile so much. I creep from the shadows. Joy walks in the light. Her happiness consumed the eyes of hate and envy. Hated because she won’t hate back. You glare at her. She gently smiles back. Assured of everything she is. Never denying the family that attempt to bring her down into the dark kingdom of the beast. Greatly loving her other half. She has something everyone wants. Happiness.

AN ASTROLOGER;S SAY

   AN   ASTROLOGER;S SAY

=====================

It is the corner of the village with a tree

There is a man with stick and mat

He is calling and shouting for his bread

his profession is giving predictions  of his believers

My walk ends there to relax and

listens his call with a desire

He called and said a thing about the past

I stunned and and sit on his mat  for more

He visited my hand and examined

In a sweet rhythm started his says

few are true and  few may be false

While in Repose

Jen doffed her clothes

In a field of cloves

The bettermost

To sniff a rose

While resting in repose.

When a spider

Sat down beside her,

She froze.

An Organ Ripe

The accident, so bad,

Was very, very sad.

They were then transporting

At cost exorbitant,

By contracted covenant,

An organ ripe for transplant

To a liver patient

(A note irrelevant).

The piano would have

Come quite sometime later

Via ocean freighter.

Circumscribed

With all our country’s wealth,

Our lives come wretched,

Circumscribed by our ill health.

As we grow older,

Our global warming

Makes our sunset winters colder.

the cruisers

at the ship’s buffet
on a sun, sunny day,

the tourists took
a long, long time

to plate up their food
and stow it away—

whate’er it was they
could assimilate.

but olive them ate;
then those cruisers joined

a long, long line
to evacuate …

aft which they joined anew
the very same queue

at the ship’s buffet
on that very same

sun, sunny day.

Rise Up Oh Mighty Men

                                                                        Rise Up Oh Mighty Men

Rise up oh mighty men

Don’t look at where you’ve been

Always stand your ground
