You Make Me A Good Guy...

I was looking for salvation
Never found it though, until
You fed my starvation
Bent me to your will

You make me a good guy
Yes, you surely do
You love me; don't know why
But not half as I love you

My wild, sowing days are over
I'm content to be at home
I am no more a rover
No longer do I roam

My days are filled with pleasure
Just to be with you
You are my biggest treasure
Because you love me like you do

VOLUIM

the fracture
holds
crooked in its splice
the river knows
flowing where it goes
the needle holds its gorge
path
syllable momentum
coursing beats
like the hearts
round of applause
the tenderest of treats

Television licks the walls
the blue tongued light
on peripherys needy edge
huddled
the glints on shiny greed
like slit eyes hungry
pacing

“Listen”

Waiting quietly, drifting,
Stillness found;
Everything on pause,
Then spring;
Bare silhouettes,
Tangled bones drifting,
As the rolling river flows;
Tame, relaxed,
Listen!

The black box of history

Like a funereal time machine
askew against a wall, lit Brit
with the graffiti of men
stands a long black box

Time just left it here
wedged in a corner
where its accumulated ghosts
were set adrift in history

And can speak no more of
its singular Blackwood horrors,
how it survived, down the centuries
while they perished in the salty dark

Even in memory they are extinct
yet this crudely built, time daubed
monstrosity persists, and is
yet heralded, the arbiter of

And so it rains....

Dark clouds gather,
thunder's greeting
shook the ground.

Wild is the wind,
howling like a banshee,
dispersing fallen leaves.

The song of frogs
growing louder in anticipation
to end the nature's thirst.

Within moments,
heaven's blessings attained
and so it rains..

halfway home

When your heart beats
and mine no longer can,
I'll be flying into peace
into heavens open land

At the coming of dawn
as night's beauty falls away,
I'll take one last breath
looking forward into day

Gorging on the sight
as the sun begins to rise,
I'll remember all of life
through veils of all my sighs

I'll weep for could have beens
for the times I failed you all,
taking on the all sins of life
a saviours penance is my call

ABOUT ATTRITION

ABOUT ATTRITION

Few kind words were ever spoken
and I never understood the beatings:
gratuitous fits of anger and mostly
location---I was the youngest
always in range and I cried not for the pain
but for a heart that was breaking.
love had boundaries and conditions
and for every sin there was an attrition
yet I was a child : my sins were never clear….
I did finally see after many a year
I realized the sins weren’t mine
and for that I cry; my love was the stronger
and I bear the hurt no longer.

VALENTINE

Return, my love, to my gray arms
on this cold midwinter night.
Let my eyes feast on your charms
revealed by the moon's sparse light.

Once more might I crush you to my chest
to share our bodys' heat
and feel beneath your yielding breast
your heart's quickening beat.

And let our blood flow hot and wild
as it did back in our youth,
for passion never should be mild,
and pheromones always speak the truth.

NEON RAINSHOWER FAN FUZZ

fuzztone overide
the energy glides
dripping in excess
the ego shinning polished
with sucess

mirth wrapped in waters
appeal
hot humid
thundering reveal

the fabrics lick up the streaming
course
the pelt of its liquid density
beating out like morse

and outside the wolves of winter
wait restless at the gate
the not so timid grip
or talon
leaking like remorse
position
the memories flame
alive inside
like a gatlin gun
on a hillside

KISSING PARADE PRACTICE FOR VALENTINE TODAY

1. Some by kissing
others by missing
but a kiss is
just a kiss

2. Her open lips
thirst like mine
but I never beg

3. You seem to be
as hard up on kissing like me
I wish even the wind does kiss
but when I am out
the wind is breathless
it lazes
damned still
as if 'twas Gods will
no one should me
kiss
something I really miss
at least the sun does kiss
