ZESPERTINE

she winds the alarm clock
her long hair trailing down a naked breast
the streetlight streaming in
the all night cable show spilling out
the small rooms light

fall down the rabbithole
spun off the metallic cap
and clasp the words of lust Luv
and ride the night away
racing that forbidden
release

Small World

Small World
Each day, a week after the school fire
The cold winter winds and rain
Tested the existence of the two mice
That had found and made a home
In a pile of old hats that lay discarded
The search for food meant leaving
The warmth and comfort of the nest
In the old hats and crossing the playground
Avoiding the puddles of water except to drink
To get to the small patch of woods near the school to find food

Hemisphere is still expanding

Three billion years
we have survived
and
another few more
we have not yet met
how at the end we shall
can you assure?

they know no less
no more
we all expand to maximum
and
then relax
that's for sure

so will the world
may also collapse

neither you nor I will know
so enjoy the night

once more
with the ones you loved to,
as before
no less
any more

we all expand for sure
to that extent only
no less no more

PRSPHUROS

altitude we hold
flying through the black curtian
concussive debris of gossip and shame
riding that height being blasted by fame

shards of sunlight on the hull
the burning stars of others
cliniging in the black fall
the spiral in flames

tinderworlds
await the touch
thatch and shale
beyone the measure
of a pail

wearied not broken
the burden the blame
reduce the will
too shambles with flames

Sound of a Poem

Sound of a poem
is that tiny drop of thought
creating ripples

trinity of love

OUR VALENTINES
The love of a valentine
I shall say nothing in between
they are in love really
hearts within hearts
Kisses only
Valentines come and play
very few only love
do love display
so do they

METAPHORICALLY SPEAKING THIS
Learning banana skills

Because a sitting duck gets killed
and a flying eagle
soars above the hill
so keep moving here and there
you will then be spared
none will be able to peel
you...still be not evil
they will kill

HEALING LIFE'S MISADVENTURES

Healing you
Nice...
Though darkness prevails
even doc’s stitches dissolve
yours are superficial
do them in the background
of your mind resolve
your problems will be solved
read more of me
and see
how stitches of distraught humans, I seal
like a banana men and women, love to peel...
and you will be
instantly seemingly healed

PROGRAM InCOMpleTE

You know I had to come to be
a flawed, by design, silicon chip
that came about quite logically
with rhyme and rhythm in my grip.

Laureates across the land
gathered to birth my sweet perfection
the attainment of a thing quite grand
at science and art's intersection.

Thus I can describe bare winter trees
or summer surf on a warm beach
in words designed to always please
well beyond organic poets' reach.

what of Valentines

Valentine mania

and this is standing love
sweet ones

we do, we do
we both daily do
love is but a breath away
from us two
so we daily
Valentine do

nature plans Valentine daily.... just naturally
see the two standing side by side ....one above the other...
To show in love they are together

what you say once in a way....
we do every day
ere we are made defunct
only few,
in moments of love stay

Sea of The Hourglass...[An East Main St. story]

The whine of an electric insect
Pushing the heat of the day
With rusted wings
Around the kitchen
Yellow from the cigarette smoke
Cooking...

The signal of messages
The sneak-thieves of black-operators
Listening to plans...
Passing on intelligence
Successful spies
In the war of knowledge

The flap of cards
Like wings a-flutter
Trying to soar in privacy
Amber waves in a glass
Sailed upon with memories
Aided by the parrot
Caged and clipped
Dreaming of when he could fly

Sherilynn

boarderlandscapes
like a shotgun shack
insulbrick and black and white
televisions that smelled of ozone
and heat in the fetid summer
humidity
porch moth orchestras
thumping their winged madness
on the shell of the hot bulbs bitter burn
