Beating Heart

This heart of mine keeps beating
for how long, I’m not sure
the electrics have short-circuited
and pacing’s pretty poor.
There's tingling down my arms
and I'm feeling tired and sore, whilst
the gnawing pain inside my chest
is tightening evermore.
Its' pattern is irregular
that's something I endure,
the doctor’s working on it
but he hasn’t found a cure.
This heart of mine keeps beating
I’ll admit that I am scared,
I have too much to do here
for death I’m not prepared.

A Smile

Speak not to me of beauty,
of lips an angel blessed;
speak not of figure trim and neat
nor heaving of a breast.

A pretty face may eyes attract,
demand a second glance;
a smiling face will touch the soul
and cause the heart to dance.

An open smile of innocence,
of friendliness to all;
is better than the poets’ gush
of beauties that enthral.

A treasure of the highest price,
it's well beyond our ken;
when first a smile is given you
just smile right back again.

Am I, the only one

Who lifts
not men
but hopes

who travels
not alone
but helps all to cope

who composes
not knowing woman
nor woe

nor recognition?

am I the only one
about on the Internet
read by so many
why? Ask them

Am I the only one

RUNNING WITH THE BULLS

RUNNING WITH THE BULLS
Too tired and weak
to breathe, to speak’
too desolate in body
and soul.
too narrow the time;
too quick the day,
no chance to run
with the bulls

ALTER DIABLOZAM

mint green slippery vessel
transistor strap
the wavering swaying wander
and jacket frayed
dirty ankles and dirty teeth
a taped shiv against ribs
beneath shirt thin as
rafters
a ships beams
and eyes rimmed
set in glorious vision blue
behind Ray Ban memories

leather loafers smooth
as blacktop highways
borne with miles
the sun smiled on dual
twins of madness
shadows of the ruin
on their faces
facade of sadness

UNWRITTEN POEM

Already the poet may be here
or he may be yet to come.
The time it may well be far or near
when souls cease to be so numb
due to a scribe who makes us See.

And the words will flow with truth
which touches all who choose to read
be they withered, be they blushed with youth,
of each religion, sex or creed.
They'll read the words and all agree.

Sinker

wavy
line hooks
cast
a shadowy
mark indistinct

un-lucid
rest
banished
eyes
scene squint
a probably
or maybe not
gordian knot
or perhaps
nothing but an eyelash
dangling
confusing
visionary mind baubles
I don't know

but, if I cared
you'd be the last
to scream
"I told you so"
nemesis
coward
of unknown
conviction

write your own
eulogy

Forgive me

I get lost in your eyes;
This describes idolatry.
Apologetically saying I'm in love
In hopes of monogamy.
Can you forgive me?

Following the strongest urge
Naturally; Rigidly
Putting essence in words
Empty; Simply
Can you forgive me?

nothing beyond.... beyond

nothing beyond.... beyond

when you go
nothing goes with you
but only a trait or trace
for a while leave you...
so again ...

I read it all
we go and just imagine
what and when you see
a dead rat
that's we also similarly

there is no beyond yonder
don't wonder all is asunder
we are here on earth only
no where beyond the beyond
all is theory
our magnetism purely
you call soul
reaches its ultimate goal
as the lightning from heaven earths
so does our magnetism

B E R M ersion

gradients of trust
thrown up
from the erosional
erasure of a solid
trust

the wind wails
weathered walk
and dunes with
patient fingers
talk
in whispers
hissing
like grasses
paper hush
emote

In the thousand
yard scale
the light like
liquid fins
shuffles decks
of magnanimous
fates
and chance
the winds in shells
spent
beneath
a surface
