This stellar happening
(with which arose the planet)
accumulates vast quantities
of ever-orbiting fragments
then spews the dust heavenward,
for us to see as blue.

He's never had it quite this good
An audience at last!
See me, folks of my old hood
I've made the big time at last!
I pretend I'm crazy
Or maybe just not there
But I really ain't that lazy
I'm on my way somewhere
My paranoia is in full bloom
I think there's someone in my room
Maybe day-mares from them shrooms
I'm having thoughts of impending doom
raw
chaffed
burnt by the idol suns
the Hulls sucked waves
on shores where
blood swam
where warriors fought
and warriors won
the vanquished gave
up breath
the booty hauled
aboard tied silenced
hoarded
neath brilliant sails
and row away
from smouldering
cursed village
a sign too those
of what may
return
what will come
too be
of Odin Freya
and Loki!

TRINITY
TRINITY
Into waters pure and clean
sunlit prism blue and aquamarine
fall three pearls iridescent white
with no mark or stain and into ripples
softly fade
The shadow of death crawls across his face
but there lies a burning will in his eyes,
commanding the strength to fight with grace
against the odds, the cruel fate that rise.
When others' courage falter, his will not.
He's the spirit of every man who stands
when life is full of aches and dreams have rot
His heart, it beats with pride that knows no end.
Standing at the edge
of the cliff of time
sooner than later
I too will not chime
there may be no more rhyme
lime
nor
sublime
as I lay
in hands of Divine
But with me
all is fine...
THE ALL TOO HUMAN
There is an inexplicable and mysterious essence
within us that makes us rise above ourselves
in our darkest moments of despair as our life
draws near to finality: a scintilla of promise
washes over us to disclaim doubt and fear.
there is much yet to learn of the ways
of God and Nature yet our heart and mind
are stricken with disbelief and we lose count
of the treasures of Creation
the flag lags
the dirts rude
everyone sipping
tins of brew
Mindless lazy
crazy dayze
the red dirt
the tinted haze
brick baked
huddled homes
and cisterns on
legged watch
silver space ships
in the dark
bicees and Marmelite
under the shade
a porch with a ruddy
crowd..
