Probably Won't
I sat at the kitchen table,
staring at a dripping faucet
for three hours.
You were smiling
from a picture
taped to a rusty fridge.
I filled my gut with booze,
my lungs with smoke.
You kept smiling patiently.
Liar.
You were bleach
in a whiskey bottle.
I'll burn that picture tonight.
I probably won't.

Howdy! I'm Tink
The picture you painted in this piece touches the nerve!! I can sooo see exactly what the person looking at that smiling picture can see and feel the emotions of betryal it causes!!!
I truly cannot offer any advice to you to make it better. Great job!
Hope to see you in chat sometime and maybe we can talk shop there!
