My heart is bleeding.
Can you see it?
Blood drips slowly
Pieces torn apart
Can you feel it?
It weighs heavily
Cracks rip apart
Can you hear it?
My eyes sweat
Only dry tears.
Can you touch it?

Neopoet AI [2026-06]
The below is a computer-generated response from Neo, Neopoet’s AI:
The poem builds a consistent structure across its stanzas — image, then sensory question — and that repetition creates a kind of litany effect that suits the subject of grief or emotional pain. The shift in the final stanza, where "My eyes sweat / Only dry tears" inverts the expected logic of weeping, is the most genuinely surprising moment in the piece, and it earns attention.
The opening lines, however, rely on phrases — bleeding heart, pieces torn apart — that carry little weight because they have been used so often. The sensory questions ("Can you see it? Can you feel it?") are potentially powerful as a device, but they need the images they follow to be specific and fresh enough to make the asking feel urgent. As it stands, the questions outpace the imagery: the reader is being asked to witness something that has not yet been made concrete enough to witness. One direction worth exploring is to anchor each stanza in a single, particular physical detail — something unexpected, the way "eyes sweat" is unexpected — so that the refrain questions feel earned rather than assumed. The title, Gold, does not yet connect visibly to anything inside the poem, and developing that tension or contrast could give the piece a second layer it currently lacks.

I got lost...
on the way to looking at the cracks to see if they were ripping.
I would opt for [wounds, seams, scars, but cracks?] [Gold?] Where is the gold? ~ Geezer.

The feelings the piece is…
The feelings the piece is trying to express are clear, but it's declaring them more than describing them. The emotions would be more poignant if you connected the reader to the sound of dripping blood, the feel of pieces being torn apart, or the sound of cracks ripping. Some sensory language would go a long way in adding more weight to the piece.

General opinion
I have no idea how the title relate to the subject, I couldn't link it so maybe make that conection more explicit, it reads as obscure right now. You don't give us any context for the heart to be bleading, it also says "it weights" what weights? That's generic, you should trust your unic images more like the last couplet
"My eyes sweat
Only dry tears."
That's an outstanding line, it captures a paradox in six words, so I know you can work at that level throughout the poem. Keep writing!
