ABOUT CANDLES AND FLAMES
ABOUT CANDLES AND FLAMES
A flame that flickers in the night
endures the winds that would
extinguish its light.
but until the fire dies to itself
It is fire still up to the time
it burns no more.
we are candles lit that sear
the universe with our fire
week or strong
and as long as one cinder burns
the inimitable soul will continue to glow…

I like the positivity in this
I like the positivity in this. I think your inimitable (love that word) soul is still burning bright, even if it is a bit flickery.

see what a difference it makes
when negativity
changes to positivity
candles glow
as the whirl-winds
do continue to blow
and
in this piece Joe
you show!

Try again and see if once more the software breaks
I see the last line more like
the peerless soul continues to glow.
