A silence broken

A silence broken

I fall into silence

Dark and deep

A familiar melancholy

Seizes my Being

And

I can no longer speak

The lyrics of this soul of mine

In images and rhyme

Quiet eyes surprised by tears

My Spirit locked in mortal fears

All walls I’ve built around my heart

Come tumbling down

Not for my own fate or destiny

Not for memory

That brings sad ghosts back to me

My silence broken

For others dear and kind

Now wandering in Time

I cried I couldnt help it ... I felt this piece carry me along beginning to end. There was no way I could break free from it, and I was drawn back to the top to read and reread. Enjoyed immensely. I like the internal capitalizations and especially like the perfect flow which builds upon itself.

Oh my tears fill my eyes
