A big fan of Acrostic

This is a very good acrostic. Who is C.M. Mattison? Only thing I would change are the spaces separating the first letter in each line. I like to be surprised by acrostic. But, if you aren't CM Mattison then you hardly have the say so... Nominated. Lisa

So this isn't an Eddy...

...poem, but you know what, it reads like you are writing about Mr Styx. I am not a big fan of acrostics, but as always, you have surprised me with this awesome write and changed my mind about acrostics...very cleverly done. enlightening write

all dictionary meanings of the 'word' BETRAYAL pale before this vivid & livid portrayal of the 'sense' of BETRAYAL... in this write words are like stoking embers.. where promise is turning into ashes and emotions into smoke ... my heart was numbed for a spell by this emotive write...this is in a class of its own... warmly...raj (sublime_ocean)...

Hooded Stranger. Hide under that vail as you wish and I will stand in the sun and take what ever is thrown or shot at me. I my friend of dark am a soldier from hell a devil dog. So yes I cry and sure pain is to my truth and my body. Yet I don't hide from anything but my mind.

Sakkkk... Not a Father by any meaning of the word, but... a representative of the site in which you have chosen to participate in, reminding you of the guidelines that you as a member are not only expected to read but adhere to... a healthy debate is one thing, but if and when it crosses over to a personal battle, it becomes my concern. I will always defend a persons right to state their opinion, but I will not defend a persons belief that it is ok to cross the line of engagement... Cat, I neglected to tell you how much I liked the poem, it is a sad thing that there are so many people I know that this poem fits, so many with only themselves in their field of vision. Richard

Why are you using Cat's poem posting as a battleground. This is not being very fare to her. Please take this up in your own PM but not on someone elses work. Did anyone read Richards comment. In my humble opinion no matter who the author of the poem is. Thier page is not the place to take up arms and go on the attack . There are other channels for this.
