When Angels Laugh
WHEN ANGELS LAUGH
Angels laugh when they see
This sorrowful humanity
Begin to fall
Grow weak
And
Disintegrate
At a slow and steady rate
Grounded by gravity to sleep eternity
And God sings
But
Humans can do what Angels cannot
Feel the pains and pleasures of the flesh
Know what it is to be alive
In all its joys
In all its fury
Its suffering and ecstasy
Feel a soul bursting to be free
Know mortality
Creators of our own creation
We die in body
Live again in Energy
Fire in the universe
Splendor of a shooting star
Sprit in a whirling wind
Beginnings with no end
It is then angels cry
And God sings
Again
