lovely write Huey. :) Time is surely a determining factor in many things of life. It might've benefited the write if the word choices were more diversified though. Just a thought Peace and cheers, logic

I agree. This poem is very old. I still try to use common words. But not to mant over used words. I think I am improving since being on Neo. Always feel free to give honest comments. This is one of the few poems I can still resite from memory. But I can not remember for sure when I wrote it. It could be as far far back as 1970. It was my first love. I was 16, she was 14. It took me years to get over her. My eyes are tearing up now. I have never unloved anyone. But I moved on. As with all Ladies of my past. She has her own special place. You always give beautiful words back. Although I wrote this about almost 30 years ago about a different love. It fits now. I don't want to go back to where Holly and I was at 28 years ago. It was a bad time for both of us. But I want to build a future on top of our past. With us the only thing that remains is our love and respect. Thanks loved. Take Care. huey
