Black Cat

BLACK CAT

Black cat sitting silently
On the branch of a willow tree
Against moonlight
Crimson yellow
Reflecting passing shadows of the dead
Only black cat can see

Candles and canticles
Incantations wrapped in hooded night
Witches’ magic
Nuns’ praying
Flesh’s desire
Priestly voices low and dark
Murmuring ancient mysteries
Souls wandering
Together in strident cacophony
White feathers flowing above
Curiously
Visions in the mind
Reality
of
Another kind
Only black cat can  see

This vision is eerie and fantasy filled

Ann of Norway Oh bother internet eclipsed my comment! Its perhaps the Melody Grand Pris of Europe that has done it, we have it here in Norway this year and the first ones have started and PAFF it all cut out on the net!!! Delicious crimson yellow moon, syruptitious!  And the wrapped incantations in hooded night is super-stitious The juxtapositioning of Nun's prayers and Flesh's desire auspicous the murmering of ancient mysteries fable-icious strident cacophony not monotonous. There aren't enough o-uses to go round I've run out early!!! But I liked this vision and I have seen it too, they sit silently  on the bough regarding all around and their eyes darting about,  their thoughts on all sorts of mysterious subjects that we can only  guess at from the expression on their faces!!!  Miiiiooooowwww. Annuccia Definitely haunted.
