Circles

CIRCLES

Sultry southern winds passing through

Under a sky midnight blue

Ocean waves reaching for

A falling Sun

Fire on the darkening horizon

Diamonds sparkling white

Hidden in twilight

Half the world asleep in dream

Another day of living now done

The day for  dying for some

In circles round and round

I go

Where it ends

I will never know

Time lost

And

Found again

They say

By

Sultry southern winds

My soul carried away

Someone reaching for

A falling son

Another day of living done

The  day for dying for some

Full circle

Longo, I really like the loop of this, it can simply be read over and over. Wonderful images and a feeling of sadness woven within the text. I am a lyricist and vocalist for a band and I immediately was drawn to what would be a great chorus: I go Where it ends I will never know Time lost And Found again They say By... I am surprised this is yet to have received any feedback...it is too good to be lost to the endless pit of zero responses. I was a little unsure about the exaggerated spacing between lines, but on my second reading, I found the spacing was offering a tempo and slowness to the piece. This is not to be read quickly, it needs to be done slowly, giving time for each line to be absorbed fully before moving to the next. I found this most enjoyable my friend. regards, HS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "With all that I am and all that I could be, I walk this earth and yet nobody sees me".

Wonder wonderfullll Longobardolino,

Ann of Norway Totally beauuuutiful!!!! Totally framed in your circle with some words that took me out if my everyday skin and sent me dazzled and slowly revolving into the space beyond, with a strangely lovely feeling of calm.  Wow this I must comment more on, the repetition of the falling sun as falling son is phenomenally good and the lights of stars shining on one side of the globe while the other is in the dark, it all conjures up such a picture of where we are, as if we were watching it from space, and yet you are very much here at the same time. A very particular poem of yours Joseph. Love Annuccia.

Or will some LATERAL thinking help him soon?

Ann of Norway Even tiny insect maybe(?) wonder where they are (From a letter to someone:- ......as I read your letter a tiny orange coloured spider is running round and round my tea cup there seems to be no end to the same surface, he's getting nowhere but thinks he is going far, he has been stopping to think with his tiny brain and has then gone on again, this has been at least five minutes, will he give up? Or will some LATERAL thinking help him soon? He's still going after at least ten minutes shall I tell him? Or is it a disorientated she? Wow! He's running so fast now, then stops, then goes on. I took a photo of him too. He looks a little tired now. Light brown he is.   That spider is still running round and round, is he in a trance? Is there something on the edge that excites him? Now he's on the inside of the cup. Perhaps he will be there in the morning and enjoy the sweet edge while all the noise is going on.He's still at it.     I don't know where the little spider has gone, he rested quite a while on the eyeglass that Erik looked at him with and with the concert on TV. I haven't looked for him for some time so who knows where he is, I only hope we don't stand on him. Perhaps he is a good omen I shall give him the benefit of the doubt anyway. That's a life too isn't it? Hope you don't mind? Love Annuccia
