Don"t look back
Don’t look back at me hunched over your letters
milling over the promises you made, Ripping at the page, Trying to make sense of it…
”You and me forever…” “Us against the world…”
As if there could be some hidden meaning,A warning…A sign…
Don’t look back at me as my eyes well up
trying to find out what I did wrong.
Did my eyes give me away?
Did you see that I'd give you everything?
And I did
Don’t look back at me, as my heart continues to break.
Don’t look back as i count the steps that take u further away…
milling over the promises you made, Ripping at the page, Trying to make sense of it…
”You and me forever…” “Us against the world…”
As if there could be some hidden meaning,A warning…A sign…
Don’t look back at me as my eyes well up
trying to find out what I did wrong.
Did my eyes give me away?
Did you see that I'd give you everything?
And I did
Don’t look back at me, as my heart continues to break.
Don’t look back as i count the steps that take u further away…
