Age Is JuSt

Age is just

Age is just a number

Now I remember

My youth

The truth

Is out of the bag

No it’s not uncouth,

It’s catching up

We all know

The systems of aging bodies

Run awfully slow

You know not tomorrow

What will happen?

To ones running nose

Or a surgeon will

Prostate’s operation proposes.

It’s just another number

Now everyone does know.

The one who came first

Does not always go

But the later comers perhaps

The heart beats run faster

Heavens do know

Which one comes now?

Are you ready to go?

I find it hard to believe you are the "Loved" I first met

You were arrogant and shallow. Your poetry has improved so much and you are listening to feedback. I find the wording quite interesting actually, as for the write, I took a great liking to it :) the break-up of the lines I think is what I like most. Peace and cheers, logic
