I'd rather be a plant--updated. The complete version. OOPS
I’d rather be a plantI’d rather be a plantSitting peacefullyIn soft sunlightUnder sapphire starsOf a summer nightNo caresNo woesAnd who knowsAs a plant I could live healthy and strongerLonger still than some humans doWater and feed me when I needDon’t overdo the caringPleaseI fear an overflow in the dishBelowUneasy existenceYou seeSitting in all that shit and peeExcuse my FrenchOui, Oui ?YetI understand some humansWhen they grow oldHave that tendency
YetA good flushing from time to timeMay be just the thing sublimeWe both are looking forTo clearA clogged root system
Stave the bugs at bay
With a sweet and gentle
Non-toxic
Spray
I want to keep my plant lungs
Pure and clear
A spritz of cool water
May also do the trick
Stick it to those
Narly, needy little bastards
I'm glad I'm not a bug
I don't give a rat’s behind
What Kafka said
I want those goddamned
Käfer dead
