Running Away

Looking straight ahead, running to nowhere in  particular.
Seeing no destination, not caring, anywhere is better than where I've just been.
I've got to get away, to start anew
to a place that's not polluted with my mistakes.

But when you run away
You'll always look back
And then
once again
you'll feel the pain;
the tearing of your heart, the piercing of your soul
and the emptiness of your life.

Your tears wont wash away what you're running from...
you cant run away from yourself

There's no escape
no easy way out...
no way to just forget.

The pain you feel feel will make you strong
the mistakes you made will make you smart
the life you fear will make you brave

The scars left will hold the memories of a life worth fighting for...
