The Humourist: To those on Neo who make me smile and laugh

THE HUMOURISTThe humourist has a heartTender and kindA clever and sharp mindA way he knowsTo help face the blowsOf thisOur life’s dark inevitabilitiesNot a tragic figure heYet tragedyHe understandsHis words are of colorsBrightRainbows of smilesAndLaughterThe light that fills

An empty soulHealing handsHis visions and imageryBold and clearRaw and bawdyCarnival celebrationA magnificent absurdityThe sane sense of insanity That takes awayIf only momentarilyThe dread of HellAndThe fear of Heaven

EPILOGUE

And let the Word be made Flesh
