Eviceration and Exposed

(Part 1)

Do not bare your soul
don't pin it out so that the crows
can get at it and peck at your vitals
and feast on your very heart

don't sit idly by and allow the vagabonds
and the thieves to raid your private thoughts
eviscerate that which was once whole

instead hold your inner turmoil close
dissect it, and examine yourself
learn that introspection is best unexposed
internal explorations with limited access

 ..........................................................................................................

 (Part 2)

 Expose your every whim
lay them out to dry
allow examination
let there be a meal made of your heart

let the populous explore
every morsel devoured
eviscerate that which was once whole

vomit and belch, let it rip
strip back the layers
shred your personal life

For arts sake ?

You know Lou

I really like this write of yours. I speaks volumes for me and that is where I will take it back to where I was before I let my dirty laundry air from the baiting game. I so love this of you that you speak heart and soul and truth, something I am totally in sync with but was led astray a time or two, Oh how we learn still as our life evolves around and with others. Great one here nomination indeed!! Love, Mona TIME well spent is TIME well lived

Evisceration

J.B. Longo-Geremia Beautifully written. How interesting the different views that create poetry :) PHOENIX RISING I strike the soul With fury The ecstasy of cold steel Ravish the senses Tear into your heart And Make it bleed To feel What I feel Fire and Ice Intensity of energy Movement into melancholy I survive myself And My humanness Steal away to hell Rise to heaven again Tell My singular history Into the depths of My quintessential self You with me Burning into ashes Phoenix rising Brava, Longo

Dear Lou, how true either or

Dear Lou, how true either or and is. ;-) For much of my life I held it all in.... letting it out in poems. This is my third and last incarnation, I suppose. I haven't stopped since the flood gates opened and I bared my soul. Confessing me to the world, unashamed. Who else is there? rofl. ~A "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." ~ A Course In Miracles
