THE JUDAS KISS--updated

THE JUDAS KISS

Sweet venom

Brushing gently on the lips

Of innocence

The spirit reels

In orgasmic epiphany

Of

Love and desire

The Judas kiss

Mesmerized in truth’s delusion

Lulled into dream

By the serpents dance

Sudden revelation and knowing

Paralyses senses and mind

As the poison reaches the Soul

Stunned into Death’s dying

As long as night turns into

As long as night turns into day somewhere, a poet will be writing poetry and the world will see his/her vision. And so the phoenix will rise again and again. ~A "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." ~ A Course In Miracles

J.B. Longo-GeremiaYes, that

J.B. Longo-Geremia Yes, that is so. The "Judas" metaphor is singular in its representation of betrayal and treachery. In post-crucificion literature he is not a tragic figure because he deserved annihlation. Not at all like the ancient Greek tragic figures Neotche [ON TRAGEDY] and Hegel both do a splendid job in analysing the psychology of all this.. Thank you for the insight, Longo
