Meanings

The days are close, nearness The rope is long meaning (given the length of rope you walk on and nigh meaning the closeness to the rope you balance.) It is something that just came to mind and it didn't sit all too good with me but it came out that way, Maybe in meaning that we walk a tightrope and sometimes we need to let it loose as nearness could mean time has come...I will leave the rest up to the imagination and no it does not mean the end of life... Yes we do not have to live under the microscope only someone may view us under the little germs they find in there. Such is life under the microscope. I DID NOT WRITE OF ENCOURAGEMENT OF SUICIDE OR ABORTIONS

Kal I do NOT brave moral stance in enouraging suicide and abortion. You have it so wrong here and I thank you for the comment but I never encourage suicide and abortion, what you intrepret in this write is completely wrong. I am not in favor of abortion as my love of life as you know is not of killing the unborn. I do not know if you grace my pages for comment or mere discontent or misunderstanding. On the more positive note I have written a poem in Italian and when I write my book it will be translated in different languages. Thank you Mona Learn to live, learn to forgive. Life is too short.

I so love the feel of

I so love the feel of acceptance in this poem .. the simple things in life that we so often forget to be happy about. Yes the rope is tight if we make it but long as eternity itself if we just let us grow free... thoughts that comes to my mind when reading your so well written words. love o molly

I really enjoyed reading this...It clearly ISN'T about pro-abortion or pro-suicide... Loved the line 'the rope is long'...I took it to mean the rope of love...a metaphor for the umbilical cord... Remember passive silence is a shield... Luv Ells x
